Little Introduction to Caleb's story with his giant lady Dilla ❤️

Dilla is Ballard's twin sister and just like him she's a large and strong warrior who, along with her people ( the Tribal Galhots), lives in the heart of forests around the kingdom of Meridian.

She is Caleb's first love, long before he even knew about Cornelia's existence. They met when Caleb was still a young man and had just taken leadership of the rebels during Phobos's reign. During a complicated mission Caleb and some of his companions end up lost in the forest and stumble upon a tribal village.

Although The Tribes did not take part in the revolution against Phobos they did show their resistance independently and held a great amount of respect for the ones who were risking their lives to contribute to the rebellion, and so they offered Caleb and his men shelter.

It was during his stay ay this village that Caleb took his first glance at Dilla, one of their most notorious hunters and warriors. Impressed by her skilfulness and capabilities he asks her to teach him her ways, to which she agrees. As they spend more and more time with each other they develop a strong bond which results in love. When the time comes for Caleb to leave the village Dilla follows him and joins the rebels for a period of time as his bodyguard.

Eventually Caleb begins having dreams\premonitions about the Earth Guardian Cornelia, and decides that the best for Dilla's happiness is for her to go back home to her people. And so they part ways but always maintaining their tender feelings for each other, never forgetting the love and bond they shared, and still share, together.

Years later Caleb will once again reconnect with Dilla after his imprisonment at the hands of Diego, and they will eventually marry and have a son together named Kai.

Images from top to bottom:

1- Most likely the first time Caleb approaches Dilla.

2- Bow and Arrow lessons the "Tribal way". Like most of her kind Dilla is completely blind but with all the rest of her senses highly developed in an almost "superhuman" way. Here she is trying to teach Caleb to "see" without his eyes. Caleb is not amused one bit!

3- Side by side in the middle of the battlegrounds when Dilla joined the rebellion.

4- I always imagined that Caleb must have had a lot of breakdowns during his rebel leader years, being so young and having the pressure of some many lives in his hands, and people putting their trust in his judgment. I also imagined that he hid these breakdowns from everyone, wanting to maintain a sense of stability and hope for his comrades. Dilla was one of the very few that served as Caleb's mental support and confidante during these times.

5- A tender moment between Dilla and Caleb when they were young lovers. I imagined they shared many moments like this especially before dangerous battles, wanting to get lost in each other's arms for they never knew if it was going to be the last time...

Once again Dilla and the concept of the tribes of Metamoor were created by my awesome friend Katerina and this is part of our collab project!
